After decades producing music for pictures, video games, interactive software and live performances, Kuann released his first EP under this alias with WANT Musik, putting together some of the best compositions he wrote for contemporary dance.
Kolorsuite was performed live ten years ago, specially conceived for an exhibition created by the legendary Italian designer Alessandro Mendini.
In addition to its digital vibes and extensive use of experimental sound design, the suite stems predominantly from classical harmony, inspired by composers such as Steve Reich and John Cage.
Two additional works for theatre have been added to complete the EP listening experience.
Kuan is now working on a full-length album release planned for 2020, which will put together acoustic instruments like bows and piano combined with sampled electronics.
